Job Description
Simply Education are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and dynamic Physical Education Teacher to join our vibrant and supportive school community. The successful candidate will inspire students to develop a lifelong passion for physical activity, health, and well being. You will plan and deliver engaging PE lessons that promote teamwork, discipline, and personal excellence across all ability levels.
Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality PE lessons in line with the national curriculum and school standards.
Foster an inclusive and motivating environment that encourages participation and improvement.
Organise and lead extracurricular sports clubs, teams, and competitions.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support where needed.
Promote healthy lifestyles and well being within the wider school community.
Contribute to the development of the school's PE and sports programme.Essential Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field.
Proven experience teaching PE across relevant key stages.
Excellent communication, organisational, and motivational skills.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.Desirable Skills
Experience coaching school sports teams or leading extracurricular activities.
Knowledge of first aid or relevant coaching qualifications.
Ability to teach a second subject (advantageous but not essential).All candidates who register with Simply Education are required to provide references for the previous 2 years of work, as well as complete an enhanced DBS check. Any interviews we hold will be conducted over a Teams call.
