PE Teacher - Secondary (Holmes Chapel Area)
£160-£220 per day | Full-Time | Long-Term Role
Are you an energetic and inspiring PE Teacher with a passion for promoting health, fitness, and positive attitudes to physical activity? Simply Education is seeking a confident and enthusiastic PE specialist to join a high-achieving secondary school in the Holmes Chapel area. This is an excellent opportunity for an educator committed to motivating students and delivering high-quality PE provision across Key Stages 3 and 4.
You will be joining a supportive and well-resourced department that values teamwork, high expectations, and creating opportunities for students to excel both in lessons and through a rich extra-curricular sports programme.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and progressive PE lessons across KS3 and KS4.
Plan and deliver a broad curriculum covering a range of sports and activities.
Promote healthy lifestyles, teamwork, resilience, and personal development.
Use effective assessment for learning strategies to monitor student progress.
Maintain high standards of behaviour in both practical and theory settings.
Support or lead extra-curricular clubs, sports teams, and fixtures.
Contribute to departmental planning and whole-school initiatives.
What We're Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or a relevant PE teaching qualification.
Strong subject knowledge across a wide range of sports and physical activities.
Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
Ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities.
A proactive, enthusiastic approach to teaching and extra-curricular involvement.
Experience teaching PE in a UK secondary school (preferred but not essential).
