PE Teacher – Independent School, Leicester
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience (MPS/UPS equivalent)

This full-time, permanent position welcomes applications from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers who are passionate about inspiring students across KS3 to KS5.

About the Role:

Deliver engaging, high-quality PE lessons across KS3 to KS5, including GCSE and A-Level Physical Education

Plan and implement a varied and stimulating curriculum promoting physical fitness, teamwork, and personal development
*
Lead and support extracurricular sports clubs, competitions, and enrichment activities to boost student participation and enjoyment
*
Contribute to departmental planning, assessment, and curriculum development
*
Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful learning environment where every student can thrive
The Ideal Candidate Will:
*
Hold QTS or PGCE alongside a degree in Physical Education, Sport Science, or a related subject
*
Have experience teaching PE across KS3 to KS5, including GCSE and A-Level delivery
*
Demonstrate excellent classroom management and communication skills
*
Be passionate about promoting healthy lifestyles and physical activity
*
Be a proactive, collaborative team player committed to the school’s ethos and values
