PE Teacher
A Good Secondary School based in the London borough of Redbridge is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and passionate, qualified PE Teacher to start in September.
The School
This large secondary school located in the borough of Redbridge, are looking to recruit an English Teacher to join their team from September. The Senior Leadership Team have the highest expectations and ambitions for every student. The school have undergone many changes over the years, but at the heart they remain a school with traditional values.
The Senior Leadership Team are very supportive of their staff and are always trying to better their expertise. Having been graded Good in their last Ofsted, it was stated that "Leaders place great importance on developing the whole child. They have high expectations on pupil's behaviour, and students do behave well, showing respect towards each other and towards adults."
The school is located with walking distance from the Elizabeth Line Station and has parking available.
PE TEACHER:
Here lies the opportunity to join not only a great school, but a very successful department. They are looking to appoint a talented are seeking to appoint a dynamic and inspirational teacher of PE. The successful candidate would be expected to teach across the age and ability range of KS3 and KS4 and build on the solid foundations already in place and bring learning to life and inspire our students. The PE Department is a popular and well resourced department that contributes positively to the wider life of the academy. The PE department challenges pupils to acquire a variety of core physical and intellectual skills to promote competence across a broad range of activities. Their aim is to embed an enduring love of physical activity and to provide a foundation for a healthy, productive and fulfilling life. They are a department who encourage self-reflection and recognise the importance of positive sporting values and engagement with the wider community. With varying levels of experience within the department, both experienced PE and Newly Qualified (NQT) PE Teachers are welcomed to apply for this post.
The role is to start in September and will be for the Autumn Term in the first instance.
To be considered for this PE Teacher role you must have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
PGCE in PE
