Job Description
Full time, PE teacher required in Hertfordshire
A PE teacher with qualified teacher status (QTS) is required to start in September or sooner at a small, mixed secondary school in Hatfield, Hertfordshire.
Tradewind recruitment are working with a specialist School in Hatfield to recruit a qualified and experienced PE teacher with at least one year of UK experience (MPS1 up to UPS3).
The successful candidate will be teaching very small groups from 2 to 8 students at a time on a long-term basis for the entire academic year.
The role is to replace a permanent member of staff and the option of temporary, fixed term and permanent contracts are available.
Requirements for the role :
Qualified teacher status.
Good behaviour management .
Experience teaching key stage 3 and key stage 4 students (mixed).
Full-time availability Monday to Friday.
Right to work in the UK.
A full DBS check (we can apply for this on your behalf if necessary).
Passion for teaching sport.
Ability to build rapport quickly with pupils and other staff members.
The successful candidate will receive:
A good salary matching your experience and suitability for the role (£169 - £259 per day)
Main pay scale to upper pay scale in London fringe (£33,074 - £50,470)
