Are you a passionate and qualified PE Teacher looking for flexible work this September in Stoke-on-Trent? ABC Teachers is actively recruiting PE Supply Teachers to support secondary schools across the area for both short-term and long-term assignments.
About the role
As a PE Supply Teacher with ABC Teachers, you’ll be delivering engaging and energetic Physical Education lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You may work in a variety of secondary schools in Stoke-on-Trent, covering planned absences or stepping in for unexpected cover.
Deliver PE lessons across a range of sports and physical activities
Adapt quickly to different school environments and follow existing schemes of work
Promote a healthy, active lifestyle and encourage positive attitudes towards sport
Manage classroom behaviour effectively to maintain a productive learning environment
Marking and planning may be required for longer-term placements

Requirements
To be considered for the role of PE Teacher you will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Physical Education
Have recent experience teaching PE in a UK secondary school
Demonstrate excellent behaviour management and lesson delivery skills
Be enthusiastic, adaptable, and confident in managing classroom dynamics
Be committed to inspiring young people to lead active, healthy lives
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Physical Education
