The school are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic PE Teacher to join their successful and supportive PE department, on a long-term basis, with potential of a permanent position for the right individual.
The Role:
As a PE Teacher, you will deliver high-quality lessons that inspire students to develop their physical ability, teamwork, confidence, and a lifelong love of sport and fitness. You will teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, contribute to the delivery of extracurricular activities, and promote health and well-being across the school.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons that meet the needs of all learners
Assess, record, and report on students’ progress and attainment
Contribute to the planning and running of a rich and varied extracurricular programme
Encourage participation, fair play, and sporting excellence
Work collaboratively with colleagues to raise standards in the department and across the school
What We’re Looking For:
A qualified teacher with QTS (or ECT status)
Specialism in Physical Education with strong curriculum knowledge
Passion for sport and physical development
Excellent behaviour management and interpersonal skills
Experience in leading extracurricular sports clubs or teams is desirable
