GSL Education are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated PE Teacher to join a supportive school in Dinnington. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated educator who is enthusiastic about promoting physical well-being, teamwork, and resilience through high-quality physical education.
Role Overview:
As a PE Teacher, you will deliver engaging and inclusive lessons across Key Stages, encouraging participation in a variety of physical activities and sports. Your role will be key in supporting students’ physical development, emotional well-being, and social skills.
Responsibilities as a PE Teacher:
Plan and deliver a broad range of practical and theoretical PE lessons.
Encourage student participation, effort, and enjoyment in physical activities.
Promote healthy lifestyles, teamwork, and sporting values.
Support students in preparation for practical and written assessments.
Organise and lead extracurricular sports activities, clubs, and events.
Ensure students’ safety during all physical activities and comply with safeguarding guidelines.
Requirements for the PE Teacher role:
UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
A degree in Physical Education or a related subject.
Experience teaching PE in a UK school.
Excellent behaviour management and interpersonal skills.
A passion for physical education and student well-being.
Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
A full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any gaps in employment in the last 10 years.
