Roles and Responsibilities:
As a PE Teacher, you will:
Plan, deliver, and assess engaging PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, in line with the national curriculum.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation, teamwork, and resilience.
Develop students’ physical skills, fitness, and understanding of health and wellbeing.
Organise and lead extracurricular sports clubs, fixtures, and events to promote wider participation.
Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to help each learner reach their full potential.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop curriculum plans and share best practice.
Uphold high standards of behaviour and safeguarding in line with school policies.
The successful PE Teacher will have:
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) in Physical Education – ECTs are welcome to apply
Experience teaching PE at KS3 and KS4
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
A proactive, energetic approach to teaching and learning
A genuine passion for sport, health, and student development
