Position Overview: We are seeking caring and skilled Paediatric Nurses to join our dedicated children’s wards and outpatient teams. In this role, you will deliver safe, effective, and personalised nursing care for infants, children, and young people, supporting both planned and emergency admissions.
Key Responsibilities:
· Providing holistic nursing care to children with acute, chronic, and complex conditions.
· Administering medications, treatments, and interventions in line with paediatric protocols.
· Supporting and educating parents and carers to be actively involved in their child’s care.
· Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to plan and deliver care.
· Monitoring patients’ conditions and responding appropriately to changes.
· Ensuring accurate and timely clinical documentation.
What We’re Looking For:
· Registered Children’s Nurse (RNC) with active NMC registration.
· Previous experience in a paediatric ward, outpatient, or community setting.
· Excellent clinical and assessment skills.
· Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and reassure children and families.
· A caring, empathetic, and patient-centred approach.
· Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
· Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
