We’re currently partnering with a growing organisation in the environmental and sustainability sector to recruit a HR / People Coordinator. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a purpose-driven business making a real impact, while developing your career in a hands-on HR role.
About the Role
As HR / People Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in supporting the full employee lifecycle—from recruitment and onboarding through to offboarding. Acting as a central point of contact between internal teams and external providers, you’ll ensure smooth, efficient, and compliant people processes across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding
* Coordinate end-to-end onboarding for new starters
* Prepare and issue offer letters, contracts, and pre-employment checks
* Liaise with hiring managers to support recruitment activity
* Ensure new starters are set up across HR, IT, and payroll systems
HR Coordination & Compliance
* Act as the main liaison with the external HR provider
* Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems
* Support policy updates, documentation, and compliance requirements
* Respond to employee queries and provide HR administrative support
Employee Lifecycle Management
* Support all stages of the employee lifecycle
* Maintain employee records, contracts, and documentation
* Assist with performance reviews and HR initiatives
Agency & Stakeholder Management
* Support relationships with recruitment agencies
* Act as a key link between internal teams and external partners
About You
Experience:
* Previous experience in a HR or People Coordinator role
* Experience supporting recruitment and onboarding
* Strong administrative and organisational skills
* Exposure to payroll processes and HR systems
Qualifications:
* CIPD Level 3 (or working towards) – desirable
* GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths
