Job Description

Job Title: People Hub Advisor Location: KAO Park, London Rd, Harlow, CM17 9NA Hours: 37,5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00 – 16:00 or 9:00 -17:00 Pay and Duration: £13.07 per hour, we expect this placement to last up to 6 months We are seeking a motivated and efficient People Hub Advisor to join our dynamic Human Resources team. This role will provide essential administrative support to the People Division, ensuring compliance with NHS Employers Standards, employment law, and Trust policies. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing employment checks, providing first-line support for HR queries, and ensuring the smooth running of our People Hub. What you’ll be responsible for: · Administer employment checks, including Right to Work, identification checks, and DBS checks. · Use systems such as Trac, DBS, ESR, and UK Visas & Immigration Sponsorship Management System to maintain up-to-date records. · Provide first-line support for queries related to leave, pay, and people policies. · Manage the generic inboxes, responding to HR-related queries on behalf of the division. · Assist in processing honorary contracts, clinical attachments, and visa extensions. · Respond to reference requests and produce confirmation of employment letters. · Ensure all relevant paperwork and documents are accurately filed. · Support the team in investigating and resolving payroll and other HR-related queries. · Contribute to training sessions and keep up to date with mandatory training. You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust: 1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS 2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times 3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation You’ll have the following skills/experience: Strong administrative skills and attention to detail. Knowledge of HR processes and compliance, particularly in relation to NHS employers' standards. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to respond to queries politely and professionally. Experience with systems such as Trac, ESR, or similar HR systems is desirable but not essential. This role may require you to show evidence of vocational level 3 qualification or at least 2 years relevant experience.
