Peripatetic Manager – Elderly Care Homes
Location: Suffolk, Norfolk & Essex (regional role)
Salary: £60,000 – £70,000 per annum + £6,000 car allowance + 20% bonus
Type: Full-time, Permanent
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading care provider for a Peripatetic Manager to support and oversee a portfolio of 8 nursing and residential homes for older people across the Suffolk, Norfolk and Essex region.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced multi-site operator or strong Home Manager looking to step into a regional role, offering both strategic oversight and hands-on support.
The Role:
As Peripatetic Manager, you will provide leadership and operational support to a group of homes, ensuring compliance, quality care standards and effective management across the region. You will work closely with Home Managers, coaching and guiding them to deliver outstanding care and strong commercial performance.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide management support across multiple homes, stepping in to cover management gaps where necessary
*
Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and internal quality standards
*
Drive occupancy and commercial performance across the portfolio
*
Support, mentor and develop Home Managers and senior teams
*
Lead service improvement plans where required
*
Build strong relationships with residents, families, staff and external stakeholders
*
Report to senior leadership and contribute to wider operational strategy
About You:
*
Experienced in elderly care home management, with multi-site or turnaround experience desirable
*
Strong knowledge of CQC requirements and quality frameworks
*
Proven track record in achieving Good or Outstanding outcomes
*
Commercially astute with excellent leadership skills
*
Flexible and able to travel regularly across Suffolk, Norfolk and Essex
*
Nurse-qualified (RGN/RMN/RNLD) preferred but not essential
