Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people with special educational needs? We're looking for a caring and committed Learning Support Assistant (SEN) to join a supportive and inclusive Secondary School environment on a part-time, permanent basis in Dudley. Prior experience in working with SEN students is essential for this role.
✨ About the Role:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
Provide tailored 1:1 and group support to students with SEN
Help create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment
Work closely with teaching staff, SENCOs, and parents to support student development
Assist in delivering adapted lessons and managing behaviour
✅ Requirements:
Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN (preferred but not essential)
A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for education and supporting learners with additional needs
Ideal for:
Individuals with classroom support experience
Psychology/education graduates
Aspiring teachers or SEN specialists looking to gain valuable experience
All applicants must be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
