Hiring: Personal Advisor – Care Leavers (Children & Families Service)
RADAAS Ltd is supporting our client in recruiting an experienced Personal Advisor to work with young people aged 16–25 who are leaving care and transitioning into independent adulthood.
📍 Location: Birmingham (B37)
💷 Pay Rate: £16.35per hour
⏳ Contract: December 2025 – February 2026 (Sickness Cover)
🕒 Hours: Full-time
🛂 Requirement: Enhanced DBS for Children & Adults’ Regulated Activity
🚗 Driving Licence: Required (access to own vehicle)
📌 Working Pattern: Hybrid (community visits + office meetings)
🔹 Key Responsibilities
*
Pathway Planning: Create, review, and manage Pathway Plans with young people, social workers, and partner agencies.
*
Multi-Agency Coordination: Build strong relationships with external services, families, and carers to deliver holistic support.
*
Housing & Finance Support: Help care leavers secure suitable accommodation and access relevant financial entitlements.
*
Life Skills Development: Support young people in budgeting, tenancy skills, and accessing local resources.
*
Advocacy: Champion the rights, wishes, and voices of care leavers, empowering them to make informed choices.
*
Case Management: Maintain accurate records and provide regular progress updates.
*
Transition Guidance: Offer consistent 1-to-1 support as young people move into adulthood and independence.
🔹 Requirements
*
Experience supporting young people or care leavers in social care, youth work, housing, or related settings.
*
Strong communication, organisation, and relationship-building abilities.
*
Ability to work independently and in multi-agency settings.
*
Enhanced DBS (Children + Adults).
*
Full UK driving licence + own vehicle.
