Prospero Teaching are working closely with a SEN High School who provide educational support to children with complex and moderate learning difficulties and autism. The site is based in Ashton, Tameside and is easily accessed by road and public transport links and offers free parking on site.

Providing tailored personal care support and working with children with SEN and complex needs
Personal care is involved - toileting, feeding, changing
Creating a safe environment that allows children to grow, develop and have fun
Poolside hydrotherapy supportPosition Details:
Location: Tameside
Position: Personal Care Assistant
Type of Work: Temporary
Full-Time/Part-Time: Full-Time only
Minimum Rate of Pay: £95 per day, depending on experience
Start date: Sept 2025
End date: Ongoing, Long-TermExperience, Training & Qualifications:
Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
Driven, energetic and keen to pursue a career in education or care
Candidates MUST have training proof for manual handling and hoistTO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years OTHER
