GSL Education London has an exciting opportunity for a Personal Care Teaching Assistant to join a secondary comprehensive school and sixth form for girls in Tower Hamlets. This is a rewarding long-term role where you can truly make a difference every day.
Role Details:
Role: Personal Care Teaching Assistant
School: A secondary comprehensive school and sixth form for girls in Tower Hamlets
Rate: £90 - £130 per day
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Long Term, Full Time
Key Responsibilities include:
• Develop an understanding of the special educational needs of students
• Provide tailored support within lessons through clear explanations, equipment and materials
• Build and maintain positive relationships with students, treating them with respect and care
• Promote independent learning and keep students engaged and motivated
• Support students in building confidence and improving self-esteem
• Perform Intimate Care as required to meet the personal care needs of female students, always ensuring dignity and respect
Please note you must have at least one year of recent experience in a similar role to be considered.
To work in the school, you must be fully compliant. This includes:
• DBS on Update Service is a must
• References
• Proof of right to work
• Proof of national insurance
• Proof of address (dated within the last three months)
