A leading national law firm is looking to appoint a lawyer at mid associate/manager level to join their renowned personal injury and human rights team in London. This permanent position offers the chance to work on complex, high-profile cases with a particular focus on the contaminated blood inquiry-one of the largest public health scandals in the UK.
This is a unique opportunity for a personal injury lawyer with a minimum of 3 years' PQE to join a claimant-focused team that regularly acts in groundbreaking and socially impactful litigation. The successful lawyer will play a central role in representing victims in high-value, multi-party claims, often with significant human rights dimensions.
The lawyer's role
The lawyer will manage a varied caseload of personal injury matters, with a strong emphasis on group litigation and institutional failings, particularly concerning contaminated blood products. This includes working on complex legal arguments, liaising with experts and counsel, and supporting clients throughout the legal process.
The role requires someone capable of managing their own files with minimal supervision while also contributing to wider strategic case planning. The lawyer will work alongside a highly experienced team and have the opportunity to make a genuine impact through public interest litigation.
