What will the Part-Time Personal Tax Manager role involve?
Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients, ensuring timely and accurate tax return preparation and submission
Providing expert advice on personal tax matters, including self-assessment, capital gains tax, and inheritance tax
Reviewing tax returns prepared by junior staff and offering mentorship and guidance
Identifying tax planning opportunities to support clients in minimising their tax liabilities
Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients and handling tax queries effectively
Keeping up to date with the latest tax legislation and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
Building and maintaining strong client relationships through excellent service and communication
Suitable Candidate for the Part-Time Personal Tax Manager Vacancy:
ATT/CTA qualified (or equivalent) with proven experience in personal tax within an accountancy firm
Strong technical knowledge of UK personal taxation, including self-assessment and capital gains tax
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain tax matters clearly to clients
Ability to work independently, manage workloads effectively, and meet deadlines
Experience in using tax software and Microsoft Office applications
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to providing exceptional client service
