Working hours: Full time, Monday-Friday, 9am-5:30pm

An exciting new opportunity for a Personal Tax Senior has arisen within a highly experienced, medium sized, Accountancy Practice in Waterloo. This practice specialise in advising high-net-worth entrepreneurs and internationally mobile taxpayers on both their business and personal affairs.

They are seeking an experienced Tax professional to play a crucial role in servicing these clients, and within the practices growth. The role comes with a great package, working from home flexibility, and a lot of progression routes

Personal Tax Senior Job Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of personal tax clients, acting as the primary point of contact for both compliance and advisory matters.
Prepare and review Self Assessment tax returns for individuals, directors, sole traders and partnerships, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
Provide personal tax planning advice, including income tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax, remuneration and pension planning.
Identify tax planning opportunities and advise clients on available reliefs, allowances and tax-efficient strategies.
Handle HMRC enquiries and correspondence, resolving technical tax issues on behalf of clients.
Work closely with the accounts team to deliver integrated tax advice and support clients with complex tax matters, including residency and domicile where required.
Review and supervise the work of junior team members, providing mentoring and technical guidance.
Keep up to date with changes in UK tax legislation while developing strong client relationships and identifying opportunities for additional advisory services.Personal Tax Senior Job Requirements

CTA or ATT qualifications are advantageous
Strong technical expertise across UK personal tax
A minimum of 3 years Personal Tax experience. More experienced candidates can be considered for higher roles
Commercially aware, proactive, and solutions driven

Salary depending on experience, and level. Ranging from £40,000-£55,000
20 days holiday (increases to 23 after 3 years' service, increasing each year to a maximum of 25 days). 25 days holiday for Managers & Senior Managers. We do close from COB on 23rd December over the Christmas period This is not taken from your annual leave, it is given to employees.
Maternity - better than Statutory 6 weeks full salary, 6 weeks half salary then SMP.
Paternity pay - better than Statutory - 2 weeks full pay.
