What You'll Do:
As a Pest Control Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring public health and enhancing the community's quality of life. Your responsibilities will include:
Conducting surveys and identifying treatments for pests and vermin that pose a public health risk.
Carrying out inspections for the safe disposal of discarded hypodermic needles and other sharps.
Managing the baiting of highway sewers and drainage inspection chambers.
Responding to enquiries and requests efficiently, ensuring excellent customer service.
Keeping accurate records and producing written reports on your activities.
Advising residents and businesses on pest control measures to promote safety and prevention.
Handling pesticides and safety equipment responsibly and safely.
What We're Looking For:
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
Expertise in pest control, especially rodent control in sewer systems.
A Royal Society for the Promotion of Health Level 2 Certificate or equivalent.
Strong communication skills to effectively engage with the public and your team.
Good organisational abilities to manage your own workload efficiently.
A full, current driving licence and the ability to work flexibly.
