Passive Fire Site Manager
South West Region (Somerset, Exeter, Southampton, Bristol, Dorset)
£45,000 – £48,000 + Vehicle & Fuel Card
Temp to Perm Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Passive Fire Site Manager to join a well-established main contractor delivering fire protection works across the South West.
This role will involve overseeing a mix of remedial works and new installations, primarily focused on fire stopping, with some involvement in fire door packages, across social housing projects.
The Role
As Passive Fire Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing site operations across multiple projects, ensuring all works are delivered safely, compliantly, and to a high standard.
You will oversee subcontractors on site, typically managing 2–6 operatives per project, while maintaining strong communication with the main contractor and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee day-to-day site operations across passive fire protection projects
*
Manage subcontractors delivering fire stopping and fire door works
*
Ensure works are completed in line with industry standards and project specifications
*
Monitor quality of installations and carry out site inspections
*
Coordinate remedial works and new installation programmes
*
Use OneTrace to track progress, record works, and maintain compliance documentation
*
Liaise with clients, main contractors, and internal teams
*
Ensure health & safety standards are maintained at all times
What We’re Looking For
*
Proven experience as a Passive Fire Site Manager / Supervisor
*
Strong background in fire stopping, with working knowledge of fire doors
*
Experience working on social housing projects
*
Ability to manage subcontractors and small teams on site
*
Good understanding of compliance, compartmentation, and industry standards
*
Experience using systems such as OneTrace (or similar)
*
Full UK driving licence
*
Willingness to travel across the South West region
