Job Description
Locum Band 7 - 8a Specialist Pharmacist: Aseptic Services
* An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Specialist Pharmacist to join the Aseptic Services team in Salisbury
* This is a fantastic role for a motivated pharmacist with technical services experience who’s ready to progress and take on specialist responsibility within an innovative, patient-focused environment.
About the Role:
* You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Aseptic Unit, including PN, CIVAs, and cytotoxic services, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. You’ll also:
* Provide expert advice on aseptic preparation, stability data, and risk management
* Supervise aseptic staff and oversee training and competency development
* Support audits, environmental monitoring, and quality reviews
* Deputise for the Accountable Pharmacist: Aseptic Services when required
* Contribute to clinical services in oncology and nutrition on a rotational basis
What You’ll Need:
* MPharm or equivalent + registration with the GPhC
* Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy
* Solid experience in hospital pharmacy and technical/aseptic services
* Knowledge of GMP, QA, and aseptic principles
* Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skillsBefore You Apply
