🌟 The Opportunity
We are seeking a Registered Pharmacist to join our in-house pharmacy team. This is a varied and hands-on role where you will ensure the safe, legal, and clinically accurate supply of all dispensed medication, in line with GPhC standards and Responsible Pharmacist regulations.
You will also contribute to the delivery and development of clinical services — including Pharmacy First, care home support, and patient consultations — while supporting the wider team with training, governance, and quality assurance.
🔍 Key Responsibilities
* Act as the Responsible Pharmacist, ensuring safe and effective supply of medicines at all times
* Ensure compliance with the organisation’s Clinical Governance Framework, including:

* Patient and public involvement
* Clinical audit and effectiveness
* Risk management and use of information
* Premises and staffing standards
* Deliver and support Pharmacy First and other clinical services
* Provide clinical advice and prescription checking for care home and community patients
* Support and train the dispensing team, ensuring competence and confidence across all roles
* Ensure SOPs are followed and regularly updated
* Record, investigate, and address all errors and near misses
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge through CPD and professional development
✅ What We’re Looking For
* GPhC registered Pharmacist with active UK registration
* Proactive, solution-focused, and passionate about patient care
* Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
* Committed to continuous learning, quality improvement, and professional excellence
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Experience in community, care home, or clinical services (desirable but not essential)
