Location: Reading (RG7), Berkshire

We are recruiting for a passionate PE educator to join a thriving school in the RG7 area of Reading. The successful candidate will support pupils’ physical, social, and emotional development through high-quality teaching and an inclusive programme of physical activities.
About the Role:
* Plan and deliver engaging and challenging PE lessons across key stages 3 and 4, and contribute to extra-curricular sport provision.
* Foster a positive, inclusive environment where all pupils feel encouraged to participate and achieve.
* Use performance monitoring and target-setting to track progress, evaluate outcomes, and raise standards.
* Work collaboratively with the PE team and wider staff to develop the curriculum, enhance teaching and learning, and promote healthy lifestyles.
* Contribute to school-wide events, competitions, and enrichment activities to enhance the profile of sport and physical education.
What We're Looking For:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
* Proven experience teaching PE in secondary schools, including delivering GCSE (or equivalent) level PE is highly desirable.
* Excellent subject knowledge, strong classroom presence, and effective behaviour management skills.
* The ability to inspire, motivate, and engage pupils of all abilities in physical activity and sport.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills with a proactive and reflective approach.
