Roles & Responsibilities
As a PE Teacher with TeacherActive, you will:
Deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Plan, prepare, and assess lessons that encourage participation, skill development, and teamwork.
Create a positive and safe learning environment both in the classroom and during practical sessions.
Manage behaviour effectively to ensure all students remain motivated and on task.
Promote healthy lifestyles, physical fitness, and wellbeing among pupils.
Contribute to extracurricular sporting activities and support school teams where required.
Collaborate with colleagues and school staff to enhance the PE curriculum and wider school community.
The Successful PE Teacher Will Have:
QTS with PE specialism (ECTs welcome to apply)
Experience teaching PE up to Key Stage 4 / GCSE
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
A genuine passion for motivating and inspiring young people through sport
