Job Description

Shape the future of aspiring physicists in our ambitious Barking school! Primarily KS5 teaching role. We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Physics Teacher to join our dedicated Science department. This role will primarily focus on delivering engaging and challenging Physics lessons at Key Stage 5, nurturing the talents of our most advanced science students. Key Responsibilities: * Deliver high-quality and engaging Physics lessons primarily to A-Level students. * Develop and implement a rigorous and stimulating KS5 Physics curriculum. * Inspire a deep understanding of complex Physics concepts and theories. * Foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and independent learning skills in advanced learners. * Contribute to the wider life of the Science department and the school. * Stay abreast of advancements in Physics and A-Level curriculum developments. Qualifications & Experience: * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. * Degree in Physics or a closely related field. * Proven experience teaching Physics at A-Level (or strong potential as an ECT with a strong Physics background). * Deep and comprehensive knowledge of the A-Level Physics curriculum. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire advanced learners. * A passion for Physics and fostering a love of the subject in students
