What You’ll Be Doing
As our new Physics Teacher, your role will include:

Teaching Physics across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 to students aged 11–16.

Creating engaging, differentiated lessons that promote deep understanding and spark curiosity.

Leading practical experiments and investigations that connect theory with real-world applications.
*
Using assessment data effectively to support pupil progress and raise attainment.
*
Contributing to curriculum development within the Science Department.

Supporting students beyond the classroom through involvement in clubs or school-wide science initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
We're seeking a Physics Teacher who:

Has Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Physics or a closely related subject.

Has successful experience teaching Physics to students aged 11–16.
*
Is confident planning and delivering high-quality lessons tailored to a wide range of abilities.
*
Brings a reflective, proactive approach to teaching and professional development.
*
Is enthusiastic about science education and committed to fostering a love for Physics in their students.
*
Works well as part of a team and contributes to the wider life and ethos of the school.
