About the Role
As a Physics Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
• Teaching Physics across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to teach A-Level Physics.
• Planning engaging, conceptually strong lessons that inspire inquiry and problem-solving.
• Supporting students in developing both theoretical and experimental skills.
• Creating a supportive and inclusive classroom culture.
• Contributing to curriculum planning and assessment strategies.
• Collaborating with colleagues to share best practice and innovate.
• Participating in extra-curricular and enrichment activities.
Experience and Qualifications
• Degree in Physics or Engineering-related subject
• PGCE/QTS with Physics specialism
• Strong understanding of the KS3–KS5 curriculum
• Passion for the physical sciences and scientific discovery
• Excellent communication and lesson delivery skills
Salary
The salary for this Physics Teacher role is paid to scale – MPS/UPS, depending on experience.
