We are looking for a Physics Teacher to work within an academically rigorous school based in Newcastle.

Physics Teacher required from September to work on a full-time basis

A respected school in Newcastle is seeking a Physics Teacher to join their successful Science faculty in September. This is a full-time permanent role teaching Physics across KS3, KS4, and A-Level, with a strong cohort of enthusiastic students. The department places a clear emphasis on enquiry-led learning, mathematical fluency in science, and real-world applications.
The Physics department is supported by dedicated labs, experienced technicians, and a healthy budget for practical resources. There is an established culture of stretch and challenge, with many students progressing to Physics or Engineering courses at top universities.
Experience and Qualifications

Degree in Physics or related subject
*
PGCE/QTS and experience teaching Physics to KS4 (KS5 desirable)

Passion for physics outreach, science fairs, or Olympiads a plus
*
Ability to contribute to whole-school STEM enrichment
