Pick & Place Machine Operator – Electronics Manufacturer
Location: Newbury
Shift: Day Shift
Pay: £13 – £15 per hour (Depending on Experience)
Employment Type: Full-Time, Ongoing
Start Date: Immediate
Actio Recruitment is proud to be working on behalf of a leading electronics manufacturing company based in Newbury, who are currently seeking an experienced Pick & Place Machine Operator to join their day shift production team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate Pick & Place machinery
* Set up and changeover SMT lines according to job specifications
* Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot basic machine issues
* Conduct quality checks and visual inspections of assembled boards
* Follow health & safety and manufacturing guidelines
* Work collaboratively with engineers and production staff
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience operating SMT Pick & Place machines in an electronics manufacturing environment
* Good attention to detail and ability to read assembly drawings and work instructions
* Strong understanding of ESD and cleanroom practices
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
* Flexibility and a proactive attitude
Pay & Benefits:
* Competitive hourly rate of circa £13 to £15 per hour, depending on experience
* Day shift working hours – no nights or weekends
