Job Description

Thrive Personnel are looking for meticulous and efficient Picker Packer Warehouse Operatives to join our clients team in Normanton. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking products from warehouse shelves based on order sheets, packing items securely for shipment, and ensuring that all orders are fulfilled in a timely and accurate manner. Your attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment are essential to our operations.

Responsibilities:

* Pick orders accurately and efficiently according to pick lists.

* Pack items carefully to prevent damage during transit.

* Prepare and label packages for shipping.

* Inspect products for defects and damages.

* Maintain a clean and organized work area.

* Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures.

* Operate warehouse equipment safely (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks).

* Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment.

* Collaborate with team members to meet daily targets.

* Report any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor promptly.

Skills:

* High school diploma or equivalent.

* Proven experience in a warehouse environment is a plus.

* Ability to read and understand order sheets and packing lists.

* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

* Good physical stamina and ability to lift and carry heavy items.

* Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management.

* Certification in operating warehouse equipment is an advantage.

Working Conditions:

* Warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures.

* Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting, and bending.

* May be required to work overtime and weekends as needed.

This is an ongoing temporary role, working 40 hours a week
