Job Description

Principal Planning Officer Minerals & Waste East Midlands £50 per hour guide   Initial 6 Month Contract   Job Ref - 61552   My Local Authority Client in the East Midlands is looking to source an experienced Town Planner with experience of dealing Minerals & Waste Applications.   The job role will be to determine applications for minerals and waste development for a collection of councils. This will include site visits as appropriate, giving pre-application advice and attending the respective planning committees of the authorities as necessary when an application goes before them. The job will also require the monitoring of existing permitted/operational minerals and waste sites in the three authorities and of any authorised development notified to us.
