Pipe Fitter / Brazer – Nuneaton
Salary: £16 – £19 per hour DOE
Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08:00 – 17:30
Contract: Permanent
Must have previous brazing experience.
Overview We are recruiting for a skilled Pipe Fitter/Brazer to join a new team in Nuneaton. This is a workshop-based role where you’ll be installing, repairing, and testing pipework systems, with brazing forming a key part of your day-to-day responsibilities.
You’ll need to be experienced, detail-focused, and confident in delivering high standards of workmanship.
Key Responsibilities • Measure and mark pipes for cutting, threading and welding using various tools and equipment
• Thread and bend pipes by hand or with a pipe bending machine
• Repair systems using welding and plumbing techniques
• Attach pipes to structures and bend into position
• Seal routes of pipework to prevent water ingress
• Perform leak tests and strength checks on pipework
• Weld, solder, braze and fuse pipework
• Read and interpret specifications to plan and install pipework systems
What You’ll Need • Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter
• Previous brazing experience
• A strong understanding of manufacturing processes
• Ability to work from technical drawings and specifications
• Attention to detail and a safety-first mindset
