Job Description
First Achieve Engineering Recruitment are working with a leading engineering and fabrication business in Glasgow who are looking to add a skilled Pipefitter to their team due to continued growth.
The Role
You will be responsible for the installation, fabrication, and maintenance of industrial pipework to a high standard. Working from detailed drawings and specifications, you will ensure all work is completed safely, accurately, and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Install, assemble, fabricate, and repair a variety of pipe systems
Read, interpret, and work from engineering drawings, isometrics, and P&IDs
Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipework to specification
Assist with testing, inspection, and commissioning of systems
Work collaboratively with welders, engineers, and supervisors
Maintain safe working practices and adhere to site and company procedures
Requirements
Time-served Pipefitter (essential)
Proven experience in an industrial, engineering, or fabrication environment
Strong ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics
Knowledge of pipe materials, fittings, and fabrication methods
Confident working with hand tools, power tools, and pipe fabrication equipment
Strong focus on health and safety
