Planner - Civil Engineering
Location: Hull
Salary: £45,000 - £70,000 per annum Depending on Experience
Full-Time, Permanent
With over 40 years of experience delivering highways, bridges, and infrastructure projects across the UK, this privately owned civil engineering contractor has built a reputation for quality, collaboration, and exceptional staff retention. They now seek an experienced Planner - Civil Engineering to support live projects, managing and updating programmes across multiple active sites.

What You’ll Be Doing
*
Visit 10–12 live sites to update Cl.32 programmes.
*
Produce accurate Compensation Event (CE) programmes for each CE.
*
Work with project and site teams to gather progress data and maintain accuracy.
*
Analyse critical paths, monitor delays, and manage NEC compliance.
*
Support the continual improvement of planning processes and reporting.
What We’re Looking For
*
Proven Planner experience in civil engineering or infrastructure.
*
Strong understanding of NEC contracts, Cl32 and CE requirements.
*
Skilled in Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
*
Excellent analytical and communication skills.
*
Organised, proactive, and detail-driven.
*
Full UK driving licence essential.
