Job Description

Planner or Assistant Planner - Construction

My client are looking for a Construction Planner or ambitious Assistant Planner to join our team, supporting projects across London and the South of England.

Key Responsibilities

  * Develop, maintain, and update detailed construction programmes.

  * Monitor project progress and identify risks, delays, and opportunities.

  * Work closely with Project Managers, Site Managers, and subcontractors to ensure programmes remain accurate and achievable.

  * Produce progress reports and programme updates for key stakeholders.

  * Support tender and pre-construction planning activities.

  * Assist with programme analysis and sequencing of works.

About You

We are keen to hear from both experienced Planners and Assistant Planners with construction sector experience.

You will ideally have:

  * Previous experience in a Planner or Assistant Planner position within construction.

  * Knowledge of project planning software such as Primavera P6 and/or Asta Powerproject.

  * Strong organisational and analytical skills.

  * Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with site and office teams.

  * A willingness to travel to sites across London and the South.

Desirable:

  * A basic understanding of façade construction and related works.

  * Experience of working on commercial, residential, or mixed-use construction projects.
