Following its recent move into much larger, historical premises in Derby, the company is strengthening its planning function to support complex bogie overhaul programmes. The Project Planning Coordinator role has been created to ensure projects are forecasted, scheduled, and delivered with precision, supporting both operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Candidate Specifications

Essential

Must have experience in rail, production, manufacturing or logistics planning environments

Strong organisational and scheduling skills

Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Ability to communicate effectively across technical and operational teams

Attention to detail and commitment to safety and compliance

Desirable

Experience in planning or coordinating engineering/maintenance projects

Knowledge of bogie overhaul processes and standards

Project management qualification or training (e.g., PRINCE2, APM)
