JRS Associates have partnered up with a leading aerospace engineering company in Pinxton to recruit a Planning Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established precision manufacturer, offering stability, career development, and an early Friday finish.
The Successful Planning Engineer - Package:
*
£35,000 – £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)
*
Day shifts – Monday to Thursday 08:00–1730, Friday 08:00–14:00
*
Early Friday finish every week
*
Long-term career stability within the aerospace industry
The Successful Planning Engineer - Requirements:
*
Proven background in CNC machining / programming
*
Experience with estimating and quoting precision-engineered components
*
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and customer requirements
*
Strong communication skills for liaising with production and customers
*
Aerospace industry experience preferred but not essential
The Successful Planning Engineer - Duties will include:
*
Planning and preparing work orders for the machine shop
*
Producing accurate cost estimates and quotations
*
Supporting CNC programming when required
*
Liaising with production teams to ensure smooth workflow
*
Contributing to continuous improvement within planning and estimating functions
