Planning Manager South Lincolnshire £(phone number removed) + Bonus The Collective Network are delighted to be working with a leading business in the South Lincolnshire area who are seeking an experienced Planning Manager to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with strong planning and leadership skills to make a real impact by shaping and driving forward the planning function within a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Lead, support, and develop a high-performing planning team, ensuring full cover across all operational days. Implement and enhance robust planning systems to deliver optimised daily production plans, maximising efficiency and minimising cost and waste. Define, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), while driving continuous improvement initiatives. Own the S&OP process, ensuring accountability across the wider team. Provide accurate and timely communication on capacity, demand, and resource planning, including service level reporting. Work collaboratively across departments, including commercial, technical, procurement, and quality. Proactively identify and resolve planning and production challenges, minimising risks to operational delivery. Take ownership of material planning issues, managing over/under deliveries and resolving shortages that could impact production. Promote and maintain high standards of hygiene, health & safety, housekeeping, and environmental best practice. Stay up to date with production systems and continuous improvement methodologies, such as model zone, 5S, and root cause analysis. The Ideal Candidate: Previous experience in a Planning Manager or senior planning role within a fast-moving environment. Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence across departments. A proven track record of implementing planning systems and driving efficiency improvements.
