Job Description
One of my local government clients are currently recruiting an experienced Planning Solicitor on a temporary basis. This is a 3-month minimum contract with the possibility of the role being extended further to work Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm.
Hybrid working role were, however, you will be required to attend the office 2/3 times a week.
Overview:
To undertake an audit of Agreements the Council has entered into pursuant to Section 106 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 and produce an analysis of the financial contributions received from those agreements
Main Responsibilities:
* Be committed to the Council’s Vision and carry out work within the spirit and intention of its core values.
* To maintain healthy and safe working practices in accordance with the Health & Safety at Work, Etc. Act 1974
* To undertake all work within the spirit and intention of equal opportunities and with a customer care focus.
* To make use of the technology available to improve communications within the Service Unit
* To undertake an audit of Agreements the Council has entered into pursuant to Section 106 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 and produce an analysis of the financial contributions received from those agreements
* This role will involve closely liaising with Officers in the Finance Team to assess which elements of the contributions have been drawn down from the balance sheets and offset against contributions received
* Carry out all work within the spirit and intention of equal opportunities and with a customer care focus
* Any other duties as requested commensurate with the post
