Job Description
We are looking for a Planning Surveyor who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.
Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a Planning Surveyor to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.
Our client is one of the largest facilities management and maintenance contractors in the UK, offering market leading opportunities for talented professionals looking for long term career progression.
As the Planning Surveyor, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.
The Planning Surveyor, will be responsible for:
* Conduct site surveys and planning appraisals to assess project feasibility.
* Prepare and manage planning applications from inception to approval and appeal.
* Provide expert planning advice to stakeholders across multiple programmes.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and internal policies.
* Manage delivery activity directly and through third-party suppliers.
To be successful for this Planning Surveyor role you must have:
* Proven experience in planning within the Telecoms sector.
* Strong working knowledge of the General Permitted Development Order (GPDO) and its application in telecoms.
* Familiarity with the Electronic Communications Code and its influence on planning and legal outcomes.
* A collaborative team player with excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to work across multiple client programmes and manage competing priorities.
