Overview
We are seeking two skilled and dedicated Workshop Plant Fitters to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a wide range of plant machinery, including telehandlers, rollers, dumpers, excavators, and more. Responsibilities
Perform maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a variety of plant machinery, including telehandlers, rollers, dumpers, and excavators.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults.
Ensure all equipment is maintained to the highest standards to minimize downtime.
Maintain accurate records of all work carried out, including parts used and time spent.
Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
Provide support and guidance to less experienced team members when required.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a plant fitter or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of plant machinery, including telehandlers, rollers, dumpers, and excavators.
Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
Relevant qualifications in plant maintenance or engineering (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent) are desirable.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn.
Day-to-Day
Work a 39-hour week, with flexible shifts from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Carry out routine maintenance and emergency repairs on a variety of plant equipment.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth operations in the workshop.
Take advantage of overtime opportunities, paid at 1.5x the standard rate, to boost your earnings.

Competitive hourly pay of £17ph - £18ph.
