Plant & Tool Fitter
Ascot
£32,000 - £36,000
We are recruiting for an experienced Plant Fitter to join a leading plant and tool hire company based in Ascot. This role involves servicing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of plant and tool hire equipment, ensuring that machinery is kept operational and reliable for customer use.
Responsibilities:
* Perform repairs, servicing, and maintenance on tools and powered access equipment, including electrical and hydraulic systems, as well as petrol and diesel engines.
* Attend off-site breakdowns to minimise equipment downtime.
* Work as part of a team in a workshop environment to prepare and maintain machinery.
* Conduct PAT Testing (desirable, but not essential).
* Complete all relevant repair and service paperwork accurately (computer literacy required).
* Participate in training programs as needed for continued professional development.
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience working with plant & tool hire equipment
* A solid understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical engineering.
* A proactive and flexible attitude towards work, with a willingness to go above and beyond when required.
* Full driving licence
