Location: Bury St. Edmunds
Salary: £39,500 per annum

Are you an experienced Plant Fitter looking for your next opportunity with a reputable, growing company? We’re seeking a skilled individual to maintain, service, and repair a range of heavy plant and construction equipment. Based within easy reach of Bury St Edmunds, this is a stable, full-time position with a competitive salary and excellent working conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out inspections, diagnostics, servicing, and repairs to plant machinery (dumpers, excavators etc.)
Ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently
Fixing of small tools (generators, pumps etc.)
Respond to breakdowns promptly, both on-site and in the workshop
Maintain accurate service records and documentation
Repairs on the fleet of vans and trailers (if trained)
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience as a Plant Fitter, Mechanical Engineer, or similar role
Strong mechanical and hydraulic fault-finding skills
NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in Plant Maintenance or Mechanical Engineering (desirable)
Full UK driving licence
A proactive, safety-first attitude
