Pay: £45,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
Job description:
We are looking for an experienced heavy mobile plant fitter to join our client based in Immingham.
The ideal candidate would have time served as a mobile heavy plant mechanic or have worked on site on mobile plant in a waste / quarry setting.
Key Responsibilities
· Undertake routine inspections on all mobile plant.
· Complete planned preventative maintenance
· Monitor and exchange wear parts.
· Complete Plant servicing
· Communicate with suppliers / OEM on parts / servicing and breakdowns.
· Prioritize emergency breakdowns ensuring equipment is quickly returned to service and temporary fixes are followed by permanent solutions.
· Fault-find and diagnostics mechanical / hydraulic and electrical
· Review Mobile plant daily check sheets / Record keeping.
· Ensure mobile plant safety features are operational.
· Be available on call during vessel loading.
· Maintain critical spares stock on site.
· Maintenance on site general equipment
· Other duties that contribute to a smooth operation
Applicants preferred skill set / training.
· Full UK driving licence.
· Certificated to operate Material Handlers / Loading Shovels / 360 excavators / ADT Dumpers / Forklift
· Fabrication / hard facing.
· Be qualified or time served heavy plant mechanic.
· Good knowledge of hydraulic systems
· Capable of working independently, making decisions and adapting to changing conditions and pressures.
· Uphold the highest level of safety.
Hours and Pay
Full Time
23 days annual leave + BH
Salary - £45,000 – £55,000 PA + overtime / On callBefore You Apply
