Job Description
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plant Mechanic/Fitter to join our team in Oldham. You will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing a variety of plant machinery and equipment to ensure smooth operation and minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on plant equipment and machinery.
* Diagnose and resolve mechanical faults efficiently.
* Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety regulations.
* Maintain accurate service and repair records.
* Provide support to the wider team when required.
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a Plant Mechanic/Fitter.
* Good knowledge of plant machinery, hydraulics, and mechanical systems.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Full UK driving licence and own car (required).
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
