WAMITAB QUALIFIED, WASTE MANAGEMENT PROCESSING SPECIALIST REQUIRE TO RUN RECYCLING OPERATIONS FOR A NATIONAL WASTE BUSINESS
TITLE: Plant Operations Manager – Waste Management & Recycling Site
PACKAGE: Circa £50-55,000 (will consider higher DOE), plus use of Van
LOCATION: Grays
YOU WILL HAVE HAD EXPERIENCE IN: Waste Management, Skip Hire, Aggregates Recycling, Scrap Metal, WEEE, Plastics, Construction & Demolition Waste, MRF, Biomass, MBT, or ELV
PREVIOUS JOB TITLES MAY HAVE BEEN: Waste Management Operations Manager, Transfer Station Manager, MRF Manager, Recycling Depot Manager, Construction & Demolition Waste Manager, Metal Recycling Site Manager, Plant Manager, MBT Shift Manager, MRF Production Manager
ROLE: Plant Operations Manager – Waste Management & Recycling Site
You will be responsible for a waste management processing site
The MRF site operates a range of materials processing machinery
You will ensure that the site is compliant with all company policies and maintains a good safety record
You will have some commercial responsibility for the site and deliver effective cost control
EXPERIENCE: Plant Operations Manager – Waste Management & Recycling Site
You must have a have a COTC / Certificate of Technical Competence / WAMITAB
You will have had experience in an industry sector such as: Waste Management, Skip Hire, Aggregates Recycling, Scrap Metal, WEEE, Plastics, Construction & Demolition Waste, MRF, Biomass, MBT, or ELV
You will have experience at management level with experience of budget management and commercial involvement
You may have an IOSH or NEBOSH safety qualification
