Alecto Recruitment is partnering with a growing and established company within the Anaerobic Digestion sector who are looking for a Plant Operator to join their site in March, Cambridgeshire.

Key responsibilities:
Operate and monitor the AD plant via the SCADA system.
Conduct daily process checks and tests (DM, Fos/Tac, gas quality).
Operate the straw processing line and feedstock systems.
Carry out visual inspections and first-line maintenance (e.g., pump changes).
Drive plant machinery (Telehandler, 360 excavator).
Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
Provide out-of-hours support and participate in the call-out rota.
Record lab samples, complete daily logs, and assist with shift handovers.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills and Qualifications
Qualification in an engineering or related discipline preferred.
Experience operating within a process or plant environment.
Licensed and competent to operate Telehandler and 360 excavators.
Strong understanding of plant operations, fault finding, and maintenance.
Good communication and reporting skills.
Proactive, safety-focused, and team-oriented approach.
