Plant Operator - Power Station
£30,000-£33,000 + benefits
Thetford, Norfolk
MC Technical Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Plant Operator, to carry out a range of operational duties across a power plant based in Thetford. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established site, with future career progression opportunities within the power generation industry.
As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for:
Operating a range of machinery including Forklift Trucks, Excavators, etc.
Performing plant inspections and checks
Assisting the team with startups and shut downs
Training on different control systems (SCADA, DCS)
Maintaining a clean, safe environment at all times
Following health & safety at all times
Working on a 4 on / 4 off, day & night shift rota
Other duties as required
To be considered for this role you should have:
Process / Plant Operations experience
Forklift truck licence
Apprenticeship in a relevant engineering field desirable
Basic maintenance skills
